Mission Statement
The mission of the Hispanic Roundtable is to strengthen the Latino
community by supporting and promoting our member agencies and by serving as
an educational, cultural, economic, and service agency resource.
Goals
Members of the Latino community in Thurston and Lewis counties will:
1) Have greater access to post secondary education.
2) Know and have greater access to community resources and services
3) Have improved communications with the community at large.
4) Have links to communities of color.
Facts
- 53.2% of Latino Americans who enter the 9th grade complete the 12th

Community Involvement
The Hispanic Roundtable welcomes all who desire to assist in the
strengthening of the Latino community.
La Mesa Redonda / The Hispanic Roundtable is a local, civic organization
comprised of professionals who meet for the purpose of supporting
individuals, agencies and programs that are serving the Hispanic community.
A gathering of professionals, that meet once every two months, who work in
agencies that serve the Spanish speaking populations of Thurston County and
vicinity. These gatherings provide opportunity to exchange information,
share resources, address current needs and develop ongoing professional
relationships.
La Mesa Redonda continues to meet for the purpose of supporting
individuals and programs that are serving the Hispanic community.
Purpose: To raise awareness of available resources and services
currently accessible to the Spanish speaking residents of Thurston County
and vicinity
